Kayzar triumph at the British Streetdance Championships 2012

Following an amazing 2011 Kayzar Dance School got 2012 off to a flying start after storming the UDO British Championships at the weekend.


Over 50 finalists took 11 championship titles, including "Xposed" being crowned the Over 18 Newcomer team, Will Smith taking the Over 16 Locking title, and Kieran Lai taking the Under 16 Popping Solo, Senior All Star and Champion of Champions titles.


Second places were awarded to "Riots" in Under 10 Newcomer team, "Ninjas" in Under 14 Advanced team, "K-Lic" in Under 18 Advanced team and "Kayzar Allstars" in Over 18 Advanced team. "Legacy" took 3rd place in the Under 18 Newcomer team section.


Oakley Gusau took the Under 8 intermediate title, while Joshua Constanzo won the Under 12 intermediate title and Tony Heirs took the Under 12 Advanced title. Dwain White won the Over 16 Advanced section while Maddison took the Under 16 BGirl title, followed closely by Lauren Powell in 2nd place. Issie Olley took the Over 16 Bgirl title. Kieran Lai was runner up in the Under 16 Locking section, Will Smith was runner up in the Over 16 Popping section while Lee Pratt was runner up in the Over 16 Locking section.


Third places were awarded to Danny Braybrook in the Under 6 Newcomer section, Shane Lucas in the Under 16 Newcomer section and Lauren Powell and Ellie Gower in the Under 10 Intermediate Duo section.


In Fifth place was Curtis Butler in the Under 14 Advanced category, Chanel Slater in the Over 18 Newcomer category and Charley Wallace and Elisha Dengel in the Under 16 Intermediate Duo section.


A huge well done to everyone who took part - whether you were crowned the champion, a runner up, just missed out on a placement in the top five or simply enjoyed taking part! It was an amazing weekend and you should ALL be very proud of yourselves because we certainly are! :)
