Kayzar support Together Against Crime

Kayzar entertained hundreds of shoppers and passers-by in the Basildon town centre as part of the Together Against Crime event on 28 July.

The annual event, hosted by The Basildon Community Safety Partnership (CSP),  aims to encourage residents to find out more about how the CSP work together to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the borough. 

Many local dance and music acts performed on the community stage, hosted by Harry Carnaby.
Kayzar are proud to be involved in events such as this, particularly as our aim is to provide fun and engaging activities that enable children and young people to enjoy themselves and learn new skills in a positive way, away from the streets.

Kayzar at T-FEST 2011

Kayzar spent the weekend performing and entertaining the crowd with amazing performances at T-Fest for the second year running.

T-Fest is in its fourth year and bigger than ever! The event took place on 23/24 July at Grays Beach Riverside Park, Thames Road, Grays.

Kayzar peformed alongside acts including the cast of The Only Way Is Essex, Jamie ‘Afro’ Archer, Gamu and Titan the Robot, along with local bands Car Boot Tetris, Mackley Drive, and many more.

T-t-t-t-tony is coming to a screen near you!

Make sure you look out for our brilliant multi-talented dancer Tony who will be starring in adverts shown on TV, online and in magazines!

Tony recently won the "Do Your Thing" competition run by Marks and Spencer after impressing the judges with his passion and talent for dance and beatboxing.

Kayzar supporting Cancer Research UK's Race for Life

Kayzar will be supporting Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. We will be providing FREE dance workshops and performing LIVE. Please come along and support this fantastic campaign and all the wonderful women taking part!

Race for Life is the largest women-only fundraising event in the UK. Since 1994, women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK have come together at these inspiring events to walk, jog or run to help beat cancer. Some women take part in celebration of surviving a cancer experience. Others take part in memory of a loved one or to give hope to a cancer-free future. But all share a common goal: to raise money for Cancer Research UK's groundbreaking work and to help save more lives.

Please come along and show your support!

Kayzar will be at BRENTWOOD on 21st May and BASILDON on 12th June.

Kayzar recently performed at a street party in Bowers Gifford to celebrate the Royal Wedding. The electrifying dance displays werer enjoyed by crowds of people and we had a brilliant day!

Kayzar's Secret Assignment

Kayzar recently took part in this unique anti-bullying event which shares new ways to tackle bullying with young people from across the Borough. Delivered by the same team who perform at the Essex Police ‘2SMART’ roadshow, the event was both exciting and engaging for all!

Schools in the area nominated three pupils from years 5 and 6, or years 7 and 8, as their Secret Agents. The Secret Agents were then sent their brief from Agent X and carried out some pre-event work in school.

On the day of the event, held at Westcliff High School for Girls, the pupils worked in groups with other schools and their team leaders to devise a form of communication which portrays the emotions and thoughts of a character from a bullying scenario. 

In order for the Secret Agents to complete their mission they have to feed back what they have learnt to other pupils, teachers and Governors and report back to Agent X before the deadline!

Kayzar at The Prom Show 2011

Kayzar teamed up with 1st Events Group to bring year 11 pupils the Prom Show 2011 - a HUGE exhibition where all your prom needs, wants and desires could be met all under one roof! Over 80 exhibitors set up stalls for dresses, make-up, nails, limousines and lots more! As well as an array of products and services, the event offered a catwalk fashion show and performances co-ordinated by Kayzar.
